Hey there! This guide will walk you through the easiest way to get us access to a client’s Business Manager. Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Navigate to Business Manager #
First things first, ask your client to go to their Business Manager (Business Meta Suite).
Step 2: Add Our Email #
Once they’re in, have them click on Settings. In the “People” section, they’ll need to add our email address. (Don’t worry, I’ll share my email with you separately!)
When they’re inviting people, they’ll just paste my email address and hit “Next.”
Step 3: Set Permissions #
Make sure they give us full control.
Under “Advanced options,” they only need to select “View” for financial access. This lets us see the payment threshold and any potential issues, helping us keep the CSM updated.
After setting those permissions, they can hit “Next.”
Step 4: Select Assets #
Next, they’ll need to select the assets we need access to:
- Select all of the pages.
- Select all of the ad accounts.
Don’t worry about the pixels; we’ll handle setting those up later. We just need the Facebook page and the ad account for now.
Step 5: Grant Full Control to Assets #
- We need full control on both the Facebook page and the ad account. After confirming that, they can hit “Next” and then “Send Invite.”
- That’s it! We’ll now have full access.
Important Note: Client Confirmation
Sometimes, the client might need to confirm their account. If this happens, they’ll simply:
- Enter the email linked to their Facebook account.
- Paste the code sent to that email.
And then they’re all set to grant access!
