Hey team! This quick guide will show you how to manage and hide sections and elements on your pages. This comes in handy when, for example, a client doesn’t have reviews yet and prefers not to use AI-generated content.
Hiding a Section or Element #
- Select the Section/Element: Scroll down to the section or element you want to hide (the review section is a good example). Click on it to select it.
- Access Visibility Settings:
- Go to the “Advanced” tab in the settings panel.
- Click on “Visibility.”
- Hide from Devices: Uncheck the boxes for the desktop screen and the phone screen icons. This will gray them out, indicating the section is hidden on those devices.
Unhiding a Section or Element #
Sometimes you hide something and then want to bring it back. Here’s how to do it:
- Access the Management Panel: Look for the navigation bar at the top right of your screen. You’ll see options for “Sections,” “Rows,” “Columns,” and “Elements.”
- Manage Sections: Click on “Sections” and then select “Manage” from the dropdown menu.
- Unhide the Section: Find the section you previously hid. You’ll notice an eye icon that is crossed out. Click this eye icon to uncross it and make the section visible again.
- Unhide Inner Elements (Important!): When you hide a section, everything inside it (rows, columns, and elements) also hides. To ensure everything reappears, you need to:
- Click on “Rows” in the top-right management panel and then “Manage.” Unhide any rows that are still marked as hidden.
- Repeat this process for “Columns” and then “Elements” in the management panel, making sure to unhide everything within your desired section.
